(The Personal/Executive Assistant Assistant)
In early 2004, Marcia Pecot started her job as a personal assistant for NBA Champion, Shandon Anderson known on the court as number “49″. Graduating from Xavier University with a major in biology/chemistry pre-med and from Georgia State with a master’s degree in neurobiology, Pecot has not only refined but elevated her research, organizational, and multi – tasking dexterities. Confident in her ability to manage livelihood tasks and known for her acute attention to detail, Pecot branched out into a career of personal assisting specifically catering to Mr. Anderson’s needs. Being an entrepreneur in her own right, Pecot had the innate ability to step right in to Anderson’s life and add structure. Now, heavily sought after for her rare ability to turn hectic chaos into effortless ease, Pecot has started Pecot & Co, LLC an exclusive concierge and creative consulting firm. With the ability to travel across the country, conduct productive business and cultivating genuine chemistry with her clients, Marcia has managed to put the “personal” back into the assistant industry.
(The Entrepreneur)
Marcia J. Pecot founded Beauty in a Blink Talent Management in November 2002. Her love and interest in the fashion/entertainment industry grew into a project that required much more time and dedication, hence the development of Beauty in a Blink. The organization was founded in order to create a company in which loyalty, trust, dedication, sincerity and a genuine love for the art of fashion would become an outlet for up and coming models/talent to break into the industry. In Atlanta, there was a definite void for someone to take control and create a company talent would migrate to in order to obtain a strong foundation in reference to their strengths, weaknesses and options regarding their careers in the fashion/entertainment industries. This passion and love for talent management allows Pecot & Co to currently consult private projects and clients related to talent management, fashion show production and event logistics.
